Awakening Creativity: Somatic Arts & Intuitive Practices

Our workshops recognize that creativity is not a skill to be learned, but a natural state of being that emerges when we remove obstacles and create the right conditions. In this sacred container, we celebrate each person's unique creative expression, honoring the diversity of ways that embodied wisdom manifests through movement, art, writing, and intuitive practices.

Supporting the Restful Dream of Winter

6 week QiGong Series

A 6 week Qigong series for slowing down, feeling in, and basking in an hour of meditative movement during a time that feels busy on the outside but can still contain stillness and quiet.

Once November starts, the snow will fall, holiday preparations will begin, and your body will be craving rest, warmth, and snuggly feelings. Seasonally our bodies need extra nourishment as winter sets in. It’s a time for dreaming, slowing, and integration. We need this.

But culturally, we are bombarded with sales, pressures, and to-do lists. These dual sensations can feel confusing. Having a regularly scheduled time to be with yourself in centered relaxation can help you thrive.

Qigong can be that time. Using tools of awareness, breath, gentle physical movements, meditation, and rhythmic dropping in, we create a nurturing nest of calm. Qigong feels good in the body, heart and mind. It helps you find your center and feel more grounded, while also enlivening your system.

This class is welcoming for both beginners and seasoned qigong participants.

YIN Yoga with Anna ~

YIN Yoga with Anna ~

What is yin yoga? It’s a type of movement practice that focuses on working with the Chinese meridians in the body. The yoga poses target specific organ meridians and are held for 2-5 minutes per pose. Participants develop the strength to breathe and sink into tension to allow it to soften. Yin (inner resources) do not exist without their relationship to yang (outward energy), so the class incorporates at least one outward movement sequence each time. Yin yoga can increase flexibility, inner reserves, grounding, and decreased muscle tension.
